The position will support analytical efforts within the Law Department. This includes data analysis and interpretation, development of statistical models and model validation, the production of various quantitative analysis used for risk identification and mitigation purposes and report generation. The position requires a very strong technical/quantitative background and statistical modeling experience mostly in SAS. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, inquisitive and computer literate with substantial SAS programming experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Organize, sort and filter data in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends
Develop and maintain data preparation and validation routines to support data mining and has experience in creating complex data mining algorithms
Select, recommend and apply appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies and techniques to execute against an analysis plan or research objectives
Evaluate new analytics tools and methodologies for possible deployment
Create data warehouses/marts and/or develop data mining analyses to support business decisions
