Manager, Marketing Analytics

Essential Responsibilities

·Support the data requirements for the design, development, implementation and tracking of direct marketing strategies, including merchant and cardholder activations, new account acquisitions and incentives·Recommend future segmentation and modeling strategies to improve campaign and portfolio targeting·Consumer/business activation strategist and marketing/risk cross functional liaison·Design appropriate test/control strategies to effectively measure results·Extensively use SAS to access and analyze detailed customer and merchant level information, identify significant trends and make recommendations for business strategy development·Present results to senior management, peers and clients·Prepare and automate production reporting/web publishing·Cross-train with peers in United States and in India·Work closely with and possibly manage off-shore resources

Qualifications/Requirements
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECITON 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT·Bachelors Degree·5+ years experience utilizing statistical techniques to solve problems·3+ years Programming/Coding in SAS

Desired Characteristics

·6+ years experience in database segmentation and marketing in both B2C and B2B·3+ years in a financial services environment with working knowledge of revolving and installment loan products·Management and/or usage of Contact Management CRM systems like SalesLogix·Successful track record of initiating, selling and integrating projects·Experience utilizing statistical analysis to solve problems in areas such as customer segmentation, predictive modeling, optimization, test design, reporting and analysis design, measurement strategy development, and financial modeling·Proficient skills in Excel and PowerPoint or similar products·Experience developing and presenting ideas·Excellent facilitative leadership and communication skills·Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues simultaneously while paying close attention to details·Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or equivalent quantitative field
