•Oversee the technical implementation of new data collection and data source feeds, including developing data test plans and reviewing test results, from the business perspective
•Develop business rules that support and enforce data quality standards
•Ensure on-going data quality through the development of monitors to track key data variables
•Define appropriate quality metrics in partnership with business partners
•Investigate and facilitate resolution of data integrity issues; provide impact assessment to support prioritization of fixes and enhancements
•Ensure data definitions are maintained and accessible to business users
•Communicate quality metrics, issues and resolution to business clients; serve as a primary “data expert” on underlying business rules and data sources for clients
Requirements
•4-year Degree in Business, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Marketing and/or Business or related area of study or equivalent work experience
•Five - eight years experience in data quality, database management, data testing, loyalty, customer relationship management (CRM), or data analysis
•Excellent technical skills in both PC and UNIX environments. Knowledge of SAS, WebFocus, MicroStrategy, or other data manipulation tools is a plus.
•Data Warehousing experience (relational data modeling)
•Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, ability to think strategically
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Attention to detail
