We currently have an opportunity for a hands-on specialist to take the lead in creating and articulating relevant analytic solutions to improve our services.   A successful outcome of this process will lead to the pioneering development of analytics in the future of political campaigns. This is a new position, and we're looking for a self-starter who will direct the development of a business intelligence infrastructure and leverage their proficiency in analytics to:

  •  Lead the execution of projects based on predictive analytics, customer segmentation and modeling, ad hoc business analytics and customer behavior reporting
  •  Design, develop and implement analytical models using appropriate data mining and statistical tools
  •  Analyze results and work cross-functionally to generate actionable recommendations


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Addressing and analyzing direct marketing programs using the following tools and techniques:

  •  Predictive statistical models
  •  Customer profiling
  •  Segmentation Analysis
  •  Data Analysis and Mining
  •  External Data Enhancement
  •  Break-Even Analysis


Requirements:

Skills:

  •  Balanced expertise in data analytics (methods and application), relevant supporting technology, and business acumen
  •  Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  •  Exceptional oral, written and formal presentation skills
  •  Demonstrated ability to generate innovative insights from rigorous analysis
  •  Experience managing projects, including ability to provide direction to others and successfully generate results
  •  Experience working cross-functionally, managing others through influence


Experience:

 Minimum of bachelor's degree; Advanced degree in Applied Statistics, Data Mining, Operations Research or equivalent is strongly preferred
 At least 5 years total relevant work experience with at least 3 years in quantitatively intensive role, preferably focused on analyzing direct marketing customer data
 Experience with a broad range of data mining and optimization applications including: SPSS or SAS, MS SQL, .Net, Business Intelligence tools, etc.
