Primary Responsibilities:
• Design and develop report solutions according to defined requirements outlined by the business and that meet internal and external client requirements
• Provide technical and analytical expertise in responding to complex, specialized report requests requiring higher-level data analyses and data management experience
• Ensure that reports comply with defined best practices and are automated to run in the most efficient manner possible
• Provide reporting community user input as well as work with other business and technical entities on specific projects seeking to automate and improve workflow processes system-wide in support of current and anticipated reporting requirements
• Assist with project planning, workflow analysis and documentation, including methods, processes, tasks, and schedules
• Maintain high level of customer satisfaction with reporting services from both internal and external customers
• Strive to continuously improve service delivery according to set guidelines and principles
• Provide training and orientation of database structure and reporting environment to internal and external personnel as needed
Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience of IBM Cognos 8 Business Intelligence (Report Studio, Framework Manager and Transformer) or SAS BI (Enterprise Guide, OLAP Cube Studio, Information Map Studio, Web Report Studio)
• 3+ years of data warehousing/business intelligence development
• 3+ years of Writing/developing SQL queries
Assets:
• Oracle database experience
• Healthcare data reporting development experience including knowledge of clinical terminology
• Experience in a business analysis role
• Healthcare industry experience
• PL/SQL experience
