Position Description:
This position will interact with internal product teams, marketing teams, finance teams, systems personnel (internal and external), other data analytics personnel and the data warehouse partner.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Serve as subject-matter expert in the area of statistical analysis and direct marketing targeting strategies
• Predictive modeling and segmentation development
• Modeling and segmentation measurement and refinement
• Test design and marketing measurement
• Ad hoc analysis and data mining
• Play leadership role in driving analytics strategy including managing projects involving cross-functional teams
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing predictive modeling and segmentation strategies for our insurance products in the age 50-64 market. It also supports the data analytics needs of the Customer Retention team for all products within Ovations - Insurance Solutions. The Data Analytics Manager will also collaborate with the Data Analytics Director and marketing teams to recommend and implement individual campaign tests and control processes and be responsible for model performance analysis. This role will also have the ability to link modeling/segmentation techniques to business results.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years data analysis, test design and marketing segmentation experience; direct to consumer service industry experience preferred
• Experience in predictive behavioral modeling for acquisition and retention
• Working knowledge of relational databases required
• Demonstrated capability in driving business results through modeling and segmentation implementation, analysis and refinement
• Ability to provide clear and concise reporting and analysis
• Proven project management capabilities
• Experience in managing analytical projects for external clients
• Knowledge of SAS and SQL required
• Experience with OLAP tools including Microstrategy preferred
• BS in Mathematics, Statistics or related field required
• Master's in Statistics or related field strongly preferred
