SAS Developer

Our client needs a SAS consultant to help with additional SAS work that the survey group has recently acquired for fall. The duration would be 3-6months (potential extensions). The majority of what this group works with is base SAS data steps. They use many of the procs; proc contents, proc freq, proc means, proc tabulate, and proc print.

They need someone with SAS skills but they also need someone with good business skills. A candidate that understands how to put the SAS pieces together in order to make a product that the business needs.

The team has struggled a little regarding getting SAS connected and efficiently processing SQL. A candidate with experience connecting SAS to SQL using OLE DB instead of ODBC would be helpful.
