Campaign Operations Manager

Our Marketing Campaign Operations team is responsible for executing our clients' database marketing programs and partnering with other agency practices to provide strategic planning and data insight. The SAS Campaign Operations Manager supports marketing initiatives ranging from email campaigns which utilize dynamic customer data, loyalty program and promotion websites, and limited direct mail.
As a SAS Campaign Operations Manager, you will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the following primary responsibilities:
• Develop SAS and/or SQL queries based upon documented business requirements to transform customer data and to create audience lists.
• Design and execute campaign processes to create data outputs supporting personalized marketing email.
• Collect and document selection criteria and business rules for new marketing campaigns and promotions
• Interface with email service provider (ExactTarget) to stage data and test emails prior to email deployment
• Work with Consulting, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and Application Development teams to provide a diverse set of data services.
• Assess business, data & technical needs, communicate gaps, risks and assumptions
• Understand and document technical requirements
• Support peers with code peer reviews and writing queries to audit campaign files
• Supply test/sample data in support of formalized testing
• Be responsible for multiple projects and for meeting challenging deadlines
Requirements:
• 3 or more years working with SAS (Enterprise Guide, Campaign Management, and/or Data Integration) or a similar database environment
• Able to quickly learn and very comfortable working within customer databases/ marts
• Ability and desire to learn new technologies and tools quickly
• Superior attention to detail, organized, and mindful of project timelines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to document project requirements, code and processes
• Self-motivated, proactive, and confident working independently on multiple deliverables•
• Bring a passion for process improvement and data services
Secondary skills:
• Experience writing SAS macros and/or stored procedures
• Experience staging data via SAS or other ETL tools
• Experience with Teradata, and/or MSSQL
• Experience with or interest in direct marketing
